All About Victoria's Secret Model Jasmine Tookes' $250,000 Ring

Victoria's Secret model Jasmine Tookes will soon trade runways for the wedding aisle! The 29-year-old model is engaged to Snapchat business developer Juan David Borrero and we have all the details on the proposal and Tookes' new bling.

The engagement occurred while the pair was presumably on a getaway in the desert. Based on the photos Tookes shared, Borrero spelled "WYMM!" in rocks and, of course, Tookes said yes! After Borrero presented the model with a blinding diamond ring (more on that later!), the newly-engaged pair celebrated with wine in the canyon. "Si, mi amor," wrote Tookes on Instagram.

Now for the best part—the ring! Borrero spent eight months designing the custom ring with gemologists at fine jeweler Ritani. He wanted to create something timeless and elegant for Tookes. The finished product features 7-carat oval-cut diamond set in 18kt yellow gold, along with a hidden halo and diamond-embellished prongs. The rare stunner cost Borrero over $250,000, but we argue bling like that is always worth it.

"Oval-cut diamonds have been trending in engagement rings," shares Ritani Gemologist Ryan Kelsie. "They are very sparkly and create the appearance of a longer, slenderer finger, making them incredibly flattering on any hand."

Tookes and Borrero have been together since 2016 and with this exciting news, she now joins fellow supermodels Toni Garrn, Jourdan Dunn, and Martha Hunt (who all got engaged this year) in fiancée status. Now, don't mind us as we stare at the model's newest accessory for the rest of the day!
