Hey Disney princess lovers, get ready to send this story to your S.O. because we just discovered the best proposal video on the internet. A man literally spent six months editing the ending of Sleeping Beauty—his girlfriend's favorite movie—to propose and our hearts are melting!

Filmmaker Lee Loechler recruited the help of an illustrator to pull off the proposal, explaining everything on YouTube. "It's not every day you get to propose to your High School sweetheart," he wrote. "For the past six months, I've been working with an illustrator to animate my girlfriend and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. On 12/30/19 I popped the question in a theater filled with our friends and family."

When he says he animated his girlfriend, Sthuthi, and his face into the iconic Disney movie, he wasn't kidding. After Prince Phillip kissed Aurora in the film, Sthuthi realized that the character looked exactly like her. And when the camera panned to Prince Phillip, he was the spitting image of Loechler! On screen, the prince then presented Aurora with an engagement ring only to throw the bauble out of the frame, which led Loechler to stand up and catch a ring box in real life.

Down on one knee he said, "It's not every day you get to propose to your high school sweetheart. So I just want to take my time, savor this moment." He also added a little comedic flair into the proposal, playing up on the fact that his girlfriend is a cardiologist. "I love you with my whole heart, including all of its ventricles, atriums, valves. Sthuthi David, M.D., will you live happily ever after with me?"

Of course, Sthuthi said yes and then laughed saying, "I thought there was something wrong with the movie!"

The sweetest part? Instead of the typical "The End" emblazoned across the screen before the credits roll, Loechler purposely wrote "The Beginning." Excuse us while we cry tears of joy for the rest of the day—we can't wait to see these two live happily ever after!
