It's hard to believe that it has been nearly a year since Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner spontaneously tied the knot in Las Vegas. And just like their over-the-top Vegas nuptials—which included an Elvis impersonator and a hoard of A-list guests—Jonas has big plans to celebrate his first anniversary with Turner at home.
The musician originally planned to bring his wife back to Vegas for the occasion but since the couple is in quarantine, Jonas has since had to alter his plans. "I think we would have gone back to Vegas," he revealed to James Corden on a virtual episode of The Late Late Show. "So, if you can keep a secret, I would say I might try to recreate Vegas in our house. I have a DJ set up. We could do a night club."
Of course, Corden couldn't resist giving his own ideas for the surprise, offering, "You could dress as Elvis," to which Jonas replied, "Now you're talking!"
Jonas and Turner first wed in a Las Vegas chapel on May 1, 2019, after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. The wedding was supposed to be a secret but thanks to Diplo, fans got a front-row seat at the nuptials through his Instagram Live. The Game of Thrones actress donned a casual white jumpsuit for the ceremony and the couple exchanged Ring Pops at the altar.
And while May 1, 2019, is the day this power couple officially became husband and wife, they'll also have another anniversary to celebrate this summer. A month after their Vegas "I dos," the couple jetted off to France for a lavish, more traditional ceremony. We're sure Jonas will have big plans for that anniversary, too!
However, their two wedding anniversaries aren't the only reasons this couple is celebrating during quarantine. News broke in February that the actress and singer are reportedly pregnant!
