In case your Saturday needed a little magic, we've got just the thing—David Henrie's wedding photos! After an eight month engagement, the former Disney Channel star said "I do" to former Miss Delaware and teacher Maria Cahill. With an Old-Hollywood inspired vibe, the wedding took place this week in Southern California and it looked practically paranormal from start to finish—from the bride's Enzoani wedding dress to the couple's first dance song. But our favorite part of the nuptials was without a doubt the guest list, which toted the names of Henrie's Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars—including Selena Gomez!
In late January, Henrie revealed that he had actually popped the question a whole four months ago, proposing to Cahill in a way only a legit wizard could—with a magical helicopter ride to California's beautiful Catalina Island. Now, the couple has finally said "I do," after tying the knot on Friday. "You always hear you should marry your best friend, and I actually get to do it," Henrie told PEOPLE magazine. "You don't meet girls like her every day."
On the big day, PEOPLE reports that Cahill stunned in a beaded lace wedding dress by Enzoani with long illusion sleeves and a high neckline, while the groom donned a traditional Indochino tux and a white bowtie for the occasion. "My dad got married in a white bowtie, so I'm honoring him," Henrie explained.
As for the bride's dress, Cahill said, "I liked the Grace Kelly vibe growing up, so I went in with a plan which resulted in me picking out my dress the first day I tried it on!"
The pair wed in front of 170 wedding guests, which of course included the famous faces of Henrie's Disney Channel co-stars, who had their very own table at the reception. In fact, Selena Gomez was one of the first people to score a wedding invite! "She was like, 'I'm in. Whenever it is, I'll be there,'" said Henrie. And she certainly was, showing up in a burgundy turtleneck dress from Emilia Wickstead's Fall 2016 line, according to Elle.
At the reception, the newlyweds arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce and then shared their first dance to Michael Bublé‘s "Hold On." Now, the pair is heading off to their honeymoon to St. Lucia's Sandals Resort.
"I"m excited to actually go away with her and just be alone," said Henrie. "It's been such an ordeal leading up to [the wedding], so when you're alone and you can finally exhale and look at each other... I'm really excited for that."
Sounds—dare we say—magical...
