Winner of Ski Magazine's No. 1 Overall Resort, there's nearly 4,200 feet of snowy terrain reachable by the famous red Aerial Tram or the high-speed gondola where, on Saturdays, there will be live music waiting for you on the hill. After a day on the slopes, head to Mangy Moose, the iconic, 50-year-old après ski bar features two full stories of grub, music and cocktails (and a grocery store, wine and gift shop, too). Consistent snow and quality amenities make Jackson Hole a must for couples with an affinity for skiing and snow.
Whistler, British Columbia
When you envision a quaint, twinkling, snow-capped winter city, Whistler, British Columbia, is exactly what would come to mind. Another incredible Colorado spot to hit the slopes is in Aspen. Offering four mountains to choose from, incredible and romantic reports (famous among noted celebrities) and world-renowned restaurants, Aspen is known as a luxurious and exclusive destination for Colorado skiing. A bit more difficult to get to than Vail, couples will find plenty to do in town for days spent off-mountain. With a lengthy ski season spanning mid-November to mid-April, couples have plenty of options for when to hit the slopes.
