Will Smith and Jada Pinkett may have been married for nearly 18 years, but that doesn't mean they've forgotten how to keep the spark alive in their relationship. Case in point: At the premiere of Smith's new movie Focus last night, the couple did not shy away from packing on the PDA on the red carpet.
But Smith told reporters that their everyday life isn't always quite so glamorous. According to People, Smith admitted that finding the perfect balance between their work and personal lives can be a challenge. "Jada and I have a struggle with that a little bit," Smith said. "The thing is, one person is in work mode while the other is in chill mode. You will realize that you are committed in having a relationship or you are really committed to work, and at some point, one or the other will have to suffer."
Even if he finds it occasionally difficult to make time for this important lady in his life, the two seemed thrilled to enjoy an evening out together. From playful kisses to a hilarious moment where Smith took in the view of his wife's figure-hugging gown, these two have no problem showcasing their connection for all to see.
Something that's not as easy for him to handle? Knowing that a large chunk of Hollywood's heartthrobs have been up-close-and-personal with his wife... at least on the set of Pinkett-Smith's new film, Magic Mike XXL. "You know, it was really interesting, because there were a lot of guys. There were a lot of famous people... So, everywhere I go, there's someone who's been in their underwear with my wife," Smith told Ellen DeGeneres yesterday. "It's just awkward."
Even with the challenge of finding time for their relationship (and trying to come to terms with your wife's latest sexy movie role), Mr. and Mrs. Smith seem to be managing their marriage in a very healthy way.
