Step aside, Lady and the Tramp—two new madly-in-love pooches have set the stage for modern canine love stories everywhere. Whoopi Goldberg has announced that her grand-dog, Filmore, is officially set to wed fiancée Izzy the Frenchie. Mark your calendars, people!

The actress and The View cohost took to Instagram yesterday to share the exciting news on behalf of her daughter, Alex Martin-Dean and her dog, by revealing the wedding stationery. (Yes, they mailed invites.) And, if you thought your own wedding invitations were grand, prepare to be one-upped—the snapshot of the light pink card shows an elegant script font and gold foil. Per the post, the vows will be exchanged January 26 in New York City at "half past five o'clock in the evening." (HOW can we get on this guest list!?)

"Heads up! There’s a wedding in the family!!! My granddog is getting hitched!! What has the world come to? Lol. @izzythe.frenchie @deanfilmore," Goldberg wrote, tagging, of course, both the furry to-be-weds.

Another extravagance? The cake, which TMZ reports will be flown in from Nashville, thanks to Dulce Desserts. That's not all—only the finest pictures will do, so celebrity photographer Timothy White has been tapped to shoot the occasion. As for the fashion, Izzy's owner, Rick Hendrix, revealed to TMZ that the bride-to-be's personal stylist, a Dior alum, has already started designing the puppy wedding gown. The groom, according to Hendrix, will sport a custom mini Tuxedo from a Ukrainian designer.

(We truly couldn't make this up if we tried.)

According to TMZ, the lovebirds (er, lovedogs?) have the Hillary Clinton campaign to thank for their meet-cute. From there, Hendrix and Goldberg hatched a plan to couple off their canine counterparts. The match seems like a striking fit, especially given Izzy's subtle stardom. Aside from her 126,000 Instagram followers (casual), the future bride has earned features in Vogue and Paper magazine.

Two paws up for this extravagant affair! We wish nothing but the best to the newly betrothed.
