Yet another former star of The Hills has become a mom!
Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad's fellow Teen Vogue intern and the undeniable voice of reason on the early-2000s reality show, announced on Instagram on Monday that she and husband Tim Rosenman welcomed their first child, a son, early last Thursday.
"Sorry I've been MIA for like a week! I lost my phone. Just kidding!! I made a human! Sonny Sanford Rosenman was born on 7/27/17!!" Port, 32, wrote alongside a photo of a painted "Welcome Baby Sonny" sign. "Everyone is so happy and healthy and we are home now. I'm going to try my very best to not be one of those moms whose feed is dominated by their baby but I can totally see how difficult it will be not to. I am beyond obsessed and in love and wish I could bottle this feeling for all of you out there."
Shortly after, fans finally got a look at little Sonny after Port shared his first baby pic. "I meannnnnnn..." she captioned. He looks so snug!
The fashion designer also uploaded a new post to her blog on Monday entitled "Meet Our Son," in which she shared a sweet photo of her tightly swaddled baby and another in which Sonny is resting on her chest in the hospital.
"We've all heard mothers give the same speech about how life changing the love for your baby is, and it's not like I didn't believe it or anything, but I guess I couldn't actually connect to those exact feelings until the doctor placed Sonny onto my chest," she wrote. "I love him and feel protective over him, but more than anything, I'm just like obsessed. I can't stop looking at him, or thinking about him when I am in another room. It's a bit like getting a toy you really really wanted as a child. There was all the anticipation and build up, and then you open it and you love it. Unlike the toy, however, I am obviously never going to get sick of Sonny, and he poops."
Port continued, "All kidding aside, my heart just grew to accommodate all this extra love I now have to give. I don't care if this is sappy or trite and I don't want to say that I love him more than anything ever because I love Timmy and my family. It's not about loving him more than something else I love. It's just awesome. I can't wait to watch him change and grow and take on my traits and Timmy's. I could go on forever, so I'll stop now, but get ready for a lot more Sonny talk coming soon." She signed the post with a heartwarming, "XOXO, Mom."
Port and Rosenman, who were married in Palm Springs in November 2015, announced that they were expecting in an Instagram post in February. "Oh hey! Just standing by the window in my underwear, with a BABY in my belly!!!" Port captioned the dreamy maternity photo. "DM me if you know what I'm supposed to do with this thing for how ever many years I'm supposed to be in charge."
If Port needs any parenting advice, she has plenty of old cast mates to turn to: LC gave birth to a baby boy earlier this month, Audrina Patridge welcomed daughter Kirra Max in June 2016, and Kristin Cavallari is mom to three toddlers. In turn, Port can share what she learns in her first few weeks of motherhood when Heidi Montag gives birth to her first child, a son, sometime this fall. Looks like the cast of The Hills: The Second Generation is coming together perfectly.
