Ashley Greene may still be rocking that post- engagement glow after her longtime love, Australian TV personality Paul Khoury, proposed just last month, but we're already legit DYING to know when the Twilight star plans to tie the knot with her sweetie. And while she may not have an exact date in mind just yet (better get on that, girl!), she does know when she definitely doesn't want to say her "I dos." That's a start, right?
We've been replaying the video of the moment when Khoury adorably popped the question ever since the bride-to-be posted it to her Instagram page. (Don't judge.) In the too-cute clip, Khoury proposed at the base of New Zealand's Bridal Veil Falls in December 2016, with Greene responding with an enthusiastic 'yes!' and a little happy dance to celebrate the perfect proposal — and we assume, the new bling on her finger!
Greene's dreamy oval-cut diamond engagement ring is super stunning — not particularly surprising since this groom-to-be had a little guidance from his bride!
"We knew we were going to get married, and we kind of discussed what type of ring [I liked]," Greene recently told E! News at the 2017 People's Choice Awards. "I basically was like, 'This is what I hate, so this is the way not to go.' He's very artistic and really romantic, so he actually flew in the diamond, then made the band, and then had someone else put it together. A lot of time and thought [went into it]."
And it sounds like a lot of time and thought will be going into that wedding, as well! According to Greene, she has no plans to tie the knot within the next 12 months.
"I want to enjoy the engagement, and I feel like if tried to plan a wedding before the end of this year it would just get stressful," she explained. "I just don't want it to be that at all. I'm just going to enjoy it, you know?" Well, that definitely opens up our 2017 calendar...
"I know it's coming, and then we'll enjoy be married and that whole bit," said Greene. "I think this year we really want to focus on our careers and kind of starting to build our life together."
