With the start of daylight savings and St. Patrick’s Day behind us, it feels like spring should be sprouting any day now. Warmer temperatures, changes in nature and more daylight hours are warmly welcomed—even more so amid Mercury still being in retrograde.
During this time of transition, we all could use a bit of guidance. So why not look to the stars?
Here are your weekly love horoscopes, courtesy of expert astrologer Christian Klausner.
Aries: March 20–April 20
The Sun is entering your sign this week, dear Aries, and the moment it does, we also get a full Moon in the opposite sign of Libra. Hopefully, you spent some time recharging your batteries last week, because it's time for your inner strength will be called forth to shine and show itself. Now is a time to move forward, but your inner review work is not totally over. The remaining Mercury retrograde may leave you with a lingering feeling that you’re forgetting something. Pay close attention to your dreams. Listen to any feeling of hesitation, because it may be your intuition telling you to be cognizant of some aspect of yourself which is easier to see now that the Sun’s splendor shines through your sign.
Taurus: April 20–May 21
No one is as thorough and dedicated as you when it comes to working on projects you really enjoy. This week may ask you to take things a little lighter—to slow down a bit so you can show others your methods, so that they can do it right too. Your coworkers, friends, and associates will love you dearly if you take the time to share your wisdom this week, dear Taurus. The biggest tension this week may come from work clashing with relationships. The challenge is to not let the pressure of your tasks interfere with your ability to be kind, courteous, and available. Put others first, and remember to love; we won’t forget what a good and trusted worker you are if you miss a deadline because someone was in need of your help.
Gemini: May 21–June 21
Springtime is coming! And with a Full Moon in your sector of creativity, this is a powerful week for love, romance, and spreading your creative wings. But to soar as high as you can this week will require that you trust the wind. Be like a child this week; see things as fresh, new, and full of wonder. Recognize that each day is absolutely new—a blank slate upon which you can paint your life. Choose the colors that bring out your eyes, and don’t be afraid to look life straight in the face. Keep your gaze up and expect to find your beloved.
Cancer: June 21–July 22
When crossing the street, we’re taught to look both ways. This is the week to apply that principle in your own life; before crossing into new terrain, try to understand both sides of what may come to meet you. Don’t walk into anything with your eyes half open but know full well what you’re getting into. Being blind is a good way to shirk responsibility, but it’s also a quick way to become subservient. Be the master of your kingdom, and own every step you take with full awareness. In many ways, you’re acting as our spiritual leader this year, so lead on with open eyes, and tell us what you see.
Leo: July 22–August 23
Venus, planet of love, is in your sector of partnerships, and it's asking you to leave space on the couch next to you so that someone lovely can come and fill it. Create room for others and observe, and you’ll see how many people have real affection for you. What a refreshing insight this will be, as Mercury retrograde may have been leaving you with all kinds of questions in the past few weeks, related to giving your power away to others with unfruitful results. This week, maintain your center of power, stay on your path, but make room for others, and enjoy the loving support which comes your way.
Virgo: August 23–September 23
This is a great week to take action on your dreams, dear Virgo, especially if you get an idea or vision of what to do and experience intense fear at the thought of it. The fear is an indicator that this is the direction to go, because it will transform you from a caterpillar to a butterfly. But don’t let the fear of the caterpillar hold you back from claiming your beautiful wings. Fear is a natural response when it comes time to let go of an old self so that you can step into a new one. Take a risk, trust your inner eye’s vision, and take that action this week!
Libra: September 23–October 23
With a Full Moon in your sign, dear Libra, this is a wonderful week to release some energy, express yourself, and share in good times with friends and family. You’re likely to be seen for your best qualities, so be sure to socialize and let yourself shine! The greatest love and chance for romance is to be found when having fun or engaged in creative projects. By making good times a priority this week, you may discover hidden resources within you that you didn’t know you had.
Scorpio: October 23–November 22
This Mercury retrograde is still giving you time to revise your mental ideas around when it is appropriate to have fun and feel good and when it is not. You may discover this week that it is much more in your power to choose how you want to feel than you thought, and with a simple shift of perspective, you can completely change the tone of any situation. The experiences of this week can allow you to become more skillful at managing your emotions. You’re becoming more of a leader by stepping into the role of being emotionally responsible and available.
Sagittarius: November 22–December 21
Without knowing how you do it, you still do so many things successfully and effortlessly. Look forward to a week of realizing your untapped potential… Saturn and Pluto help to bring you an awareness of your hidden resources, your talents locked away by your own unconscious mind. Trusting this power of your unconscious to aid you will be key in owning these resources, thereby paving the way for a stronger, more foundational outlook on life. “The ground beneath us becomes solid in proportion to the solidity of our feet.” That’s a quote I just made up.
Capricorn: December 21–January 20
There is no doubt that you set a strong example for others in this life; you, in many ways, set the standard. You might detect there is a standard change up ahead, and a need for adjustment will partner with a desire to grow. You’re undergoing foundational character growth, as you have been all month, so realize how much progress you’ve already made in those moments where you get down on yourself. No backward. No down. Only forward. Only up. Hope is rising in nature with the ascent of the sun in springtime, but for it to become a reality to us we must internalize this hope.
Aquarius: January 20–February 18
Everything should be smooth sailing for you with Venus still in your sign all week, but the Sun’s entrance into Aries may spark a new flame in the way you communicate and socialize. This week should offer many growth spurts, which you often handle quite well, but the current retro-Mercury confusion in your money sector will offer up a new realization of the creative resources you have within and around you.
Pisces: February 18–March 20
What a journey it has been with the Sun in Pisces! As this is the last week in your sign, with a Full Moon on Wednesday, please enjoy the week and relish in the lessons you’ve learned. Actualize your new knowledge with a fresh embodiment, as springtime is a season which helps to revitalize your presentation, and infuse you with a new strength to your effectiveness at serving others. Spreading lots of good cheer through your overabundance of energy and enthusiasm is called for this week.
