Think we gush over John Legend and Chrissy Teigen a tad too much? Well, too bad! If our obsession over this nearly perfect pair is wrong, we don't want to be right.
We're not even ashamed to admit that we're sometimes a little jealous of the jet-setting couple. (A wedding in Lake Como? A honeymoon in Portofino? Photo shoots on exotic beaches? #Blessed.) But occasionally, all that traveling leads to nights spent apart for the famous twosome. Definitely something not to be envious of...
However, Teigen and Legend will be damned if they let a little long distance get in the way of their love. In fact, they just shared how they keep their marriage strong in the face of distance. LDR couples, listen up!
Is it really any surprise that the swoon-worthy "Love Me Now" singer knows a thing or two about romance? We're calling a big ol' duh on that one, but Legend actually credits little romantic gestures when it comes to keeping that spark all aflame.
"You just have to make time for each other, go on little trips like we did for her birthday and go to dinner just the two of you sometimes," Legend shared with E! News. "You still have to have romance time."
Add that to your to-do lists, y'all (right between that wedding dress fitting and finalizing your ever-expanding guest list)! Any other advice? Yep and it's a little, umm, unexpected. "Travel away from each other a lot — that helps," suggested Legend's supermodel wifey. Uhh, care to explain yourself there, Teigen?
"We're not together 365," said Teigen. "It's nice to be able to really be like, 'Oh my gosh, I miss you. I miss you so much.' That works for both of us." Huh. So we guess the old cliche is true when it comes to these two — absence really does make the heart grow fonder!
Consider this your official excuse for those destination bachelor and bachelorette parties. (You can thank Chrissy later!)
