Is this the new "bae?" Cameron Diaz recently shared the affectionate little nickname she calls her husband, Benji Madden, during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. And just like practically everything else about their marriage, her sweetheart's pet name is just too darn cute.
It wasn't until recently that we finally heard some little tidbits about the love story between the Good Charlotte rocker and the Charlie's Angels beauty. From their low-key engagement to a super secretive at-home wedding just over a year ago, these two are definitely pros at keeping their whirlwind romance under wraps. It was only last month when Diaz finally opened up about her romantic relationship with her hubby. "You know, nothing matters now that I have my husband," she shared with Andy Cohen. "Everything else just like washes and slips away. You realize like, 'Oh this is like the real thing is. This is what real love is. This is what real commitment and devotion is. This is the person you build your life with.'" Told you these two are absurdly adorable!
Things got even cuter on Ellen DeGeneres' talkshow this week, when Diaz revealed even more details about what goes on behind closed doors at the Madden/Diaz residence — including her unique nickname for her bae. "I call him a lot of names," Diaz told DeGeneres. "'My Buh,'" the actress finally revealed. Wait, what?!
"You know things start with 'baby' then it goes to 'bae' and then it goes all the way down to like 'buh,'" she said, hilariously trying to explain the progression of Madden's pet name. "Soon I'm just going to go 'ugh' and he's going to know that I'm talking to him." You know you're in a pretty solid marriage when you can communicate just through grunting!

But kidding aside, Diaz also had the sweetest things to say about her "buh." "Someone asked me, 'What's your favorite thing about being married?' And I was like, well I just learned so much about myself. I didn't know these things and I was like I would have never known them if I didn't meet my husband who helped me," she said, according to E! News. "I couldn't do it without my husband. I couldn't do it with anybody else except for him." Aww! Isn't "buh" the best?
