If you're a groom-to-be wondering how you can have a little more fun with the wedding planning process, one thing you can do is watch some wedding-related movies. To get yourself prepared (while also relaxing — win/win!), go with a wedding-themed movie that'll have you laughing and knowing what not to do on your own wedding day. Here's a list of four movies every groom-to-be should watch before getting married.
Wedding Crashers is the ultimate movie to get you in mood to get down on the dance floor at your own wedding and have fun with your closest pals. While Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson pull off an ultimate wedding crash and become the life of the party, you might not get as lucky with the strangers who could show up at your wedding just to hit up the open bar.
The Wedding Ringer
After watching this movie, you’ll start to appreciate all of your groomsmen, knowing that even if they are a little unreliable or always end up posted up at the open bar, at least they aren’t strangers (and at least you didn’t have to spend a couple of thousand dollars to be your best man just for the night).
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates
You will laugh your way through wedding planning watching Mike and Dave on the ultimate quest to find wedding dates. The dynamic duo ends up with two girls they find on Craigslist (and hilarity ensues). If hosting a destination wedding, you may even decide to double check who your friends' and family members' plus ones are after watching, just saying.
Besides the LOL-worthy moments throughout the entire film, watching this movie, you'll begin to understand all that your bride-to-be's friends go through leading up to the big day (from dress try-ons to the bridal shower to the big day). Chances are, you'll be even more inclined to thank your bridal party knowing all of the requests and pre-wedding events that they have participated in.
