When you invite guests to your wedding, you hope that everyone follows the dress code, adheres to your registry, and generally behaves. Sometimes there are brides who go a bit off the rails with rules, but there are also moments where one has to question a guest's etiquette.
One bride took her complaints to Facebook after one of her wedding guests left her celebration with a lot of food. The bride explains, per Metro UK, that they had only invited around 25 people to their small ceremony and reception. The guest in question was the daughter of a friend of her father's, whom the bride claims was included as a favor at the last minute. Though the woman was supposed to attend with her husband, the woman attended alone—but she didn't leave empty-handed.
"So she shows up without her husband, but with 10 Tupperware containers. TO TAKE FOOD," the bride wrote on Facebook. "We had a buffet style wedding...and we had a cookie table. She loaded up 7 Tupperware containers with food to take home, took about 3 containers of homemade cookies, a couple bottles of beer, and most of the centerpieces." The bride didn't notice at first as she was busy celebrating, but her father filled her in the next day. And the woman says the guest only gave a $5 bill as a gift.
"Before anyone asks, she's not poor by any stretch of the imagination," she continued. "She's probably better off than I am, but I'm assuming it's because she just freeloads from anyone and everyone she can...Who does this?"
Honestly, we're not sure. But it's a sign that the food served was great.
