And this, dear readers, is an example of exactly what you shouldn't do at a wedding (or ever, really). Marking one of the biggest wedding fails we've ever seen, this viral video showcases how competitive bouquet tosses can really get. Case in point: When the bride throws up her bundle of blooms, one guest gets so excited and anxious to catch it that she drops the child she's holding in order to reach for it (spoiler alert: she doesn't catch it).
The guest was so anxious to get married next (thanks to the old wives' tale that if you do catch the bouquet you will be next down the aisle) that she drops her baby straight to the ground. Meanwhile, the bouquet flies right over her head, and that huge slip-up was all for nothing!
As for the poor child who was dropped, she doesn't appear to be harmed, AOL reports. The video's description also makes a point to emphasize "note: no babies were harmed in the making of this video." It's unclear how old the woman is in this video, so it's very likely she was babysitting someone else's child and got overwhelmed when the excitement of the bouquet toss took over!
Word to the wise: If you have a tendency to get competitive in these sorts of situations, leave your babies behind. No child should be harmed for the sake of a bouquet. Watch above and keep the laughs coming all night long.
