Vera Wang, the iconic wedding dress designer who has created gowns for celebrity brides like Victoria Beckham, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Lily Aldridge and more, has something new to add to her resumé. She's opening the doors of her New York City headquarters to give 10 lucky couples a VIP bridal experience, thanks to her new partnership with Brides Across America.

Brides Across America, a nonprofit organization, seeks to gift weddings and wedding gowns to military and first responders. Since 2008, the organization has gifted over 24,000 free wedding dresses and 22 free weddings to military and first responder brides. And now, the organization will be adding 10 more to that list.

With the help of Wang, Brides Across America is going to gift a bridal experience unlike anything they've gifted before. The winning couples will be invited to Wang's Manhattan atelier for private appointments where both brides and grooms will be fitted for their wedding day looks, the organization tells Brides exclusively. Brides-to-be will be given a Vera Wang bridal gown while grooms will receive a BLACK by Vera Wang tuxedo. Wang will also honor one couple with a personal one-on-one fitting with the designer herself.

“To those that give so much, it is a privilege to help make their dreams come true," Wang tells Brides of the new partnership.

In addition to hosting these couples, Wang has also enlisted the help of other wedding industry professionals to offer these couples a complete bridal package. The 10 couples can expect to receive wedding bands from Zales Jewelers, bridesmaid and groomsmen attire from David's Bridal and Men's Wearhouse and wedding invitations designed by Crane.

The soon-to-be married couple can also check some items off their wedding registries since they'll also be given Wedgwood dinnerware, Revman International bedding and towels from Kohl's. And the brides won't have to worry about their wedding day scent either as a fragrance will be provided by Coty and eyewear will be covered by Kenmark Eyewear.

“Brides Across America is honored to partner with Vera Wang on a special event coming this October," said Heidi Janson, CEO of Brides Across America Inc. "Together we will provide gratitude and support for our military and first responders for their selfless acts each and every day. We are proud to celebrate our heroes during a special time in their lives.”

This partnership with Brides Across America also kicks off the start of Wang's 30th anniversary as a bridal designer. Interested military and first responder couples can apply online at the Brides Across America website and the bridal appointments will take place on October 11th, 14th and 15th.
