"Andrew and I wanted our wedding to be an upscale barbecue," says Jennifer, who planned the event with the help of Carin Lomax of Events Extraordinaire. Jennifer wore an Anjolique gown and her mother's veil with a chignon adorned with bright blue delphiniums.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast Inn, which is located near the village where the couple got engaged. The outdoor ceremony featured both Jewish and Christian traditions, as well as music from the Sage String Trio. After a cocktail hour featuring the couple's signature drink, Lynchburg lemonade, everyone headed inside the inn for the reception.
Bright floral centerpieces in galvanized buckets adorned each table. Also on display: Tiles featuring photos of the inn. "Andrew and I wanted to give our guests a piece of the Briar Patch and of ourselves," says Jennifer. "So we took some photographs of the Inn and spent several months printing and transferring them onto tiles to place on tables and give as favors."
