It was a big weekend for weddings! Singer Tori Kelly celebrated her own marriage to basketball player André Murillo this weekend, revealing the big news on social media. Kelly posted a wedding photo to Instagram Sunday night, captioning it with a quote from pastor Tim Keller. "To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known & not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known & truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God,” she posted alongside a photo of her now-husband and her against a striking desert background. She added: "Thank you to everyone who made this the most magical day ever. i’m floating. brb.” Murillo shared the same photo, captioning the picture with traditional vows. "For better or for worse, In sickness and in health, To love and to cherish, Till death do us part," he wrote.
For the private festivities, Kelly wore a custom ivory mermaid dress by Galia Lahav, People reports, complete with a fitted lace bodice and a flowing train, complemented by a half up-do and an oversized bouquet. She completed her wedding-day ensemble with a pair of Sam Edelman sandals.
Kelly, 25, and Murillo, 28, first announced their impending nuptials back in September with a black-and-white photo of the couple posted to the singer's Instagram, including an obviously emotional Kelly showing off her ring. It was simply captioned, "I love you." Murillo was a little more direct about their exciting plans in the caption on his engagement photo, writing, "To have and to hold... to cherish and protect. My best friend said 'yes'." While Kelly is known for her singing career, which includes a Grammy nomination and an album, Unbreakable Smile, that hit No. 2 on the Billboard Charts, her new husband has a basketball career in Germany.
