Topshop has officially entered the bridal market, and we could not be more thrilled. As one of our favorite affordable fashion brands for everything from denim (one of its best-kept secrets!) to late-night party outfits, it’s the perfect solution for that bride on a budget. The brand announced on Thursday that it would be launching the collection at the end of January, but it wasn't until now that we caught our first glimpse of the gorgeous offerings to be included in the 30-piece capsule.
The announcement comes on the heels of the disappearance of J. Crew’s bridal collection as well as news that affordable bridal options are being featured in H&M’s newest Conscious Exclusive collection.
Topshop’s collection will feature white gowns for the bride, along with styles for the bridal party. With a more casual vibe, they’re just the solution for the girl who is looking for a modern spin on her wedding day. The collection will include five bridal gowns, starting at $650, and a selection of 25 bridesmaid dresses that will start at $160.
For the bride, there will be midi dresses and floor-grazing gowns alike—some classic and clean, others boasting layers of lace and ruched silk. In other words: There’s something for everyone. As for the bridesmaid, think romantic ruffles, layered chiffon, and slinky slipdresses in a range of pastel hues and feminine florals. Even if you’re only taking on the role of guest at countless summer weddings this year, might we suggest checking out these styles for instantly chic solutions?
The line is a limited edition, so it’s a safe bet that the styles aren’t going to last very long. Mark your calendars: The full selection will be available online and in select stores beginning on April 13. Until then, find some of our favorites from the collection here.
