Pinterest's 100 Report Is Here, and These Are the Top Wedding Trends of 2018

There's no shame in admitting that you had a secret wedding Pinterest board before you were even engaged. (You're just a prepared person!) But if you've been pinning ideas for your big day since way back when, it's time to give that beautiful board a bit of an update. The inspiration sharing site has just released it's annual Pinterest 100, a report of the top pins that are emerging in popularity. Judging by the global data, Pinterest predicts that these will be the top trends of 2018.

So what does this study speculate will be 2018's top wedding trends? With the search term "filled ballons" getting an 86 percent surge in traffic, you can expect to see next-level balloons filled with everything from foliage to glitter floating above the heads of brides and grooms everywhere. The frequency of the term "guest book keepsake" also went up—over 200 percent—reflecting brides' search for unique guest book options, from jenga blocks to postcards. And pom poms are popping up everywhere. (The phrase "pom pom decor" went up a whopping 444 percent!)
