In the midst of countless celebrity breakups, there's one couple that has stuck together through the curse of Hollywood relationships—and this weekend they celebrated three decades together. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary at their Pacific Palisades home on Saturday night—but the two weren't alone in their festivities. The couple was joined by countless celebrities there to celebrate, including Kate Hudson, Martin Short, Isla Fisher, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O'Brien.
According to E! News, the couple's bash began at 7 p.m. and didn't start to calm down until midnight. The publication also reported Kimmel, Conan, Hawn, Russell and Short were spotted hanging out together while waiting for the valet to bring their cars.
Wilson and Hanks are one of Hollywood's favorite long-standing couples and the two have gushed about each other countless times over the years. Back in 2016, Wilson spoke about her husband to E! News at the Chanel x MOMA film benefit that honored two-time Oscar-winning husband.
"I always thought my husband is a work of art, but now there's proof that he's a work of art," Wilson gushed. "He's amazing. It's fantastic and it's celebratory and I have to say I think his films all over the years have meant a lot to a lot of people. I think there's something to be said about the choices of the films that he's done and as a collective thing it's pretty nice and pretty impressive."
The Forrest Gump star and his wife first met in the early 1980s while filming the sitcom Bosom Buddies, and later tied the knot on April 30, 1988. The two share two sons together—Chester Marlon "Chet", 27, and Truman Theodore, 22.
