Tom Brady Reveals His Favorite Part About Being Married to Gisele Bündchen

The quarterback opened up about his marriage in an interview with Oprah Winfrey

Offering a rare glimpse into the private lives of the couple, Tom Brady adorably opened up about his 11-year relationship with supermodel Gisele Bündchen in a new interview. A preview of a Super Soul Sunday interview with Oprah Winfrey released by Entertainment Tonight revealed some telling new details about their happy marriage.

In the clip, Oprah asked the New England Patriots quarterback what his favorite part about being a husband is.

"I just love having to come home to someone that engages me every night," he said. "She makes me laugh."

The athlete also revealed that he thinks their personalities compliment each other in particular ways. "She flies in the sky and she's so creative and I'm very rooted, so she stretches me in ways without her I couldn't be stretched," he said of how his wife has influenced him.

The influence, he says, goes both ways, telling Oprah, "I keep her just close enough where she doesn't go so far." The close-knit couple didn't stray very far from each other even for the exclusive interview; Gisele laughed from the sidelines during his talk with Oprah.

Most importantly, though, he added that "she can always count on me and I can always count on her."

In the interview, Tom also discussed his Facebook series, Tom vs. Time, which gives fans a look into the home life of the family of five.

"I think it was just good timing," he told Oprah regarding his decision to open up his home to viewers. "I felt like it would be nice to share with the fans what my life was all about."

The father of three also thinks the series will become a cherished family heirloom for his children 8-year-old Benjamin, 5-year-old Vivian, and 10-year-old John from a previous marriage. "I also think documenting a part of my life, I can look back on that with my kids and say, 'Wow, this is a really cool piece for our family.'"
