OMG — Candace Young is walking down the aisle with Officer Justin! No, that's not a Haves and the Have Nots spoiler; It's real freakin' life! Actress Tika Sumpter is engaged to her The Haves and the Have Nots co-star Nicholas James, announcing the nuptial news on Monday's episode of The Real, and we're practically beside ourselves with the star's incredibly sweet proposal story.

When it comes to her personal life, Sumpter typically prefers to keep things super private. The new mom even tried to keep her pregnancy under wraps last year, giving only one interview to Fit Pregnancy and never publicly declaring the identity of her little one's father. But if her co-star's Instagram account chock full of itty bitty baby pictures is any indication, Sumpter shares her three-month-old daughter, Ella-Loren, with her co-star Nicholas James — who, according to BET, is now also the star's hubby-to-be!

The actress took her appearance on The Real as an opportunity to get, well, real about her relationship status. When host Loni Love spotted Sumpter's sparkler, Love immediately asked if the bling was an engagement ring. And indeed it was!

"Yeah, I'm engaged," Sumpter happily revealed, sharing how her sweetie proposed on Christmas Day with the audience. "He did all of these amazing things. I went on a little hunt in the house," she explained. "And I was like, 'Oh, he's going to propose.'" But then the scavenger hunt ended unexpectedly. "It was a Peloton bike he bought me." Awkward.

"I was like, 'Oh, that's cool!'" laughed Sumpter, not realizing that an even cooler surprise was right around the corner, as her beau pulled out a letter from behind their newborn. "He was like, 'Ella has something to say to you.' And it was just this letter of beauty. And then he proposed." UGH, our hearts!

"It was just simple," Sumpter said. "And just awesome."

"It's been burning a hole in his pocket for a while," the actress explained. "So he was like, 'I wanted to do this now.'" And we are oh-so-happy he did!
