Chris Soules who? Whitney Bischoff may have won Season 19 of The Bachelor, but it wasn't until this weekend that the blond beauty finally won in love. Bischoff has just tied the knot, saying "I do" to her now-hubby, sales manager Ricky Angel, in a seaside ceremony on Cape Cod.
According to People, the wedding took place on Saturday, October 21, at Cape Cod's Wequassett Resort. The wedding guest list included a handful of Bachelor Nation alumni, including Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn Booth, Evan Bass, and Carly Waddell. (Notably—and understandably—missing was the bride's former fiancé, The Bachelor's Chris Soules).
Bischoff walked down the aisle in a custom-made satin column wedding dress by Audrey Grant Bridal, as "My Old Kentucky Home" played as a salute to the bride's home state. "The wedding took place just after 4 p.m.," an insider divulged to E! News. "The ceremony was set up right at the water with chairs lining the aisle. The weather was perfect and sunny."
"The ceremony lasted about 20 minutes," continued the source. "At the end, Whitney and Ricky had a few private moments where they took a walk on a dock and toasted with glasses of rosé."
"For the cocktail hour and reception, everyone moved inside to a room overlooking the water," added the insider.
As perfect and picturesque as that all sounds, it was even more so to the beaming bride. "The theme to our wedding is ‘Life has a beautiful crazy design.’ It’s a line from our first dance that we feel relates so much to our lives and how we got to where we are today," Bischoff told People.
Bischoff and Angel got engaged in July of 2016 after meeting on the dating app Bumble the year prior. "He actually looked just like his pics!" Biscoff wrote on Instagram last month. "He made me laugh. And he made me feel like I could be myself. He didn't care about my past. We were just two kids living in the moment. Fast forward 2 years & we are ready to get hitched in a matter of days. Life is a crazy ride, thanks for hanging on with me @rickyrange16."
Congrats, you two!
