It's a MTV celebration! Teen Mom 2 star Jo Rivera tied the knot with his fiancée, Vee Torres, over the weekend, and both his ex, Kailyn Lowry, and their son, eight-year-old Issac, were in attendance for his big day.
Jo and Vee married in in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where both Issac and Jo and Vee's daughter, Vivi, walked down the aisle with the couple as ring bearers. Lowry's plus-one for the night was friend Becky Hayter, who she later thanked on Twitter for attending the wedding with her.
"Thank you for being my BFF & date to this wedding. And wiping my tears as I bawled," she wrote next to a selfie of herself and her bestie.
The pair of friends also shared videos to social media from the event, including one of the newlyweds entering the reception to Bruno Mars's "Marry You" and a clip of the couple during their first dance to Ed Sheeran's song, "Perfect." According to Us Weekly, the groom also shared a dance with his mom, Janet, to the song “Mama” with all of the groomsmen coming onto the dance floor to embrace the pair. The half siblings, Issac and Vivi, were spotted dancing to Christina Perri‘s “A Thousand Years.”
Jo and Vee got engaged in April 2016. Jo wrote on Twitter at the time, “It’s been a long time coming but I’m so happy to finally [be] engaged to the woman of my dreams. Very excited for our big day.”
The two got engaged six years after Jo and Kailyn split in 2010, after the two appeared on 16 and Pregnant together. Though it took some time, the exes went from worst enemies to best friends. “Jo and I hated each others’ guts...We were not good friends [and] we barely coparented,” she told MTV News last year. “Now we’re best friends—I can tell him anything. I can call him, and we can switch weekends easily or if I need him to grab Isaac from school. We are so good now.”
