Couple Alexas Gonzales and Brittany Lewis tied the knot on January 12th at Noah’s Event Venue in Dickinson, Texas, after over 9 years together. When the adorable couple started dating back in high school, they made Swift's song "Love Story" part of their own. When Lewis proposed back in 2016, she used the lyrics from the song to pop the question to her fiancé.
“As she got down on one knee she said, ‘So I talked to your dad, now it’s time to pick out a white dress… will you marry me?’ ” Gonzales wrote on her wedding page. “Our song has always been ‘Love Story’ by Swift so if you know the song you can see how adorable her saying that was!”
When Swift caught wind of her influence in the couple's relationship, she had to congratulate the newlyweds in her own special way. The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer sent the couple a sweet letter along with a stunning bouquet of flowers.
“Lexi & Brittany, you have no idea how honored I am that ‘Love Story’ has been such a big part of your beautiful love story,” Swift wrote in her note, which Gonzales posted a photo of on Twitter. “I’m absolutely thrilled that Lexi said YES! Have the most magical wedding day and hopefully I can meet you both soon! Love, Taylor.”
Naturally, Gonzales was thrilled: “Still in freaking shock that Taylor Swift sent me and my amazing Hubby flowers on our wedding day,” she wrote on Twitter, adding hashtags, “#LoveStory #SinceHighSchool #WeddingOfTheYear.”
This isn't the first time Swift has surprised fans on their wedding: in 2016, she performed a version of "Blank Space" at superfan Max Singer's wedding, and has sent many a bouquet to fellow celebs and fans alike.
