Your rehearsal dinner doesn't have to be a stuffy three-course meal. Instead, rethink the typical sit-down dinner and come up with a menu that's a little more inventive and full of your and your groom's personalities. Steal one of these delicious rehearsal dinner ideas and yours might be just as memorable as the wedding itself.

Lobster Bake (above): A traditional New England-style lobster bake — complete with whole lobsters, clams, potatoes, and corn — is a delicious way to set the tone for a festive wedding weekend ahead.

Tacos: Want to get guests mixing and mingling at the rehearsal dinner? An make-your-own taco bar is a great way to get everyone to interact (don't forget to book a mariachi band to provide the dinner-party soundtrack!).

Pizza: For a more casual rehearsal dinner, serve up pies from your favorite local pizza parlor and invite guests to help themselves.

Farm to Table: For a fresh take on the dinner meal, hire a catering company that specializes in incorporating locally grown ingredients into the menu. This way, you'll give your guests a taste of the region's food culture and cuisine.

Food Trucks: If you're going for a more relaxed rehearsal dinner vibe, book your favorite food truck to dish up good eats to your dinner guests.

Barbecue: Whether it's a Southern-style dinner with ribs and pulled pork, or a low-key backyard bash with hamburgers and hot dogs, a laid-back barbecue dinner is a guaranteed good time.
