Royal wedding guests have started crossing the pond! Last week, it was reported that Meghan Markle’s mom had arrived in London ahead of the big day (May 19!) and now, the bride's former Suits costar Jacinda Barrett has made the journey too, according to the Daily Mail.
Barrett appeared in Suits as Zoe Lawford and is married to another Suits star, Markle’s former on-screen boss Gabriel Macht—who she is believed to be traveling with. The actress posted a photo of herself and her son in front of Buckingham Palace just six days before Meghan and Harry will say I do.
“Kissing in front of the Queen. #buckinghampalace,” Barrett wrote. She continued with some kind words about Mother’s Day, although we suspect that this isn't just some Mother's Day vacay and that she and her family are actually traveling to attend Markle's wedding. Many of Barrett's fans left similar sentiments in the comments of the photo. “Aah can’t wait for the wedding now,” one person wrote. “Awe....that’s sweet! Enjoy the wedding Jacinda!” another said.
Barrett may have even revealed what dress she will wear on the big day. She posted to Instagram wearing a red Emilia Wickstead dress, although she is still “deciding what to wear.” Hmm...
“Getting ready to fly to Europe, got places to go and people to see, but still deciding what to wear,” The actress captioned the pic. “Getting a little love from @emiliawickstead on this one. #london#cannes #paris.”
The red frock could technically be for any one of Barrett’s European stops, but the Daily Mail points out that Emilia Wickstead would make an appropriate choice for royal wedding attire, as it is one of Kate Middleton’s favorite designers.
No matter what she decides to wear, Barrett’s attendance is no surprise. A source previously revealed that the Suits cast—in addition to a few other celebrity guests—would be receiving invitations to the historic event. "About 25 people from Suits are attending the wedding and they're trying to put together a dinner on the Friday night before the wedding," a source told Access.
Last Friday, a source specified that Markle’s onscreen husband Patrick J. Adams will be attending as well.
