Stay tuned to hear from more of your favorite bartenders across the country (and beyond!)—because as we all know, the drinks really do make the wedding.
"Edible flowers are a cocktail designers best friend—if there's one way to make a drink really pop, it's adding an array of edible flowers on top. This cocktail was inspired by the classic Clover Club cocktail, which uses gin, lemon juice, raspberry syrup, and egg white, with an upgrade given by using Cognac and a blackberry simple syrup. This gave the cocktail a richer, more elegant flavor profile—perfect for a bridal shower, wedding party happy hour, or bachelorette brunch. For best results with any egg white cocktail, shake extra hard (twice) to emulsify the ingredients sufficiently and give the cocktail that extra special silky texture." —Natalie
- 2 oz. Cognac (Hennessy is always a classic choice)
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 1 oz. blackberry simple syrup
- 1 egg white (1oz.)
- Edible flowers (garnish)
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake extra hard for around one minute to properly emulsify the ingredients. Strain out ice and shake again to create a silky consistency. Fine strain into your coupe glass. Garnish with beautiful edible flowers.
