Introducing Brides's newest foodie-celebrating series, in which we bring beautiful, handcrafted, Instagram-approved signature cocktails to you four times a week! Each month, we'll shine a spotlight on two master mixologists and their one-of-a-kind libations, with recipes and tips on how you can incorporate these signature beverages into your wedding menu, engagement party, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or just an extra-sweet night at home in the kitchen together. For the first half of October, the mixology duo behind the cocktail consulting team at Bar Lab (also the masterminds responsible for the hit restaurants and bars at the Freehand hotels) continue to blow us out of the water with eight boozy beauties to keep you and your guests sipping and swinging all evening long. Stay tuned to hear from more of your favorite bartenders across the country (and beyond!)—because as we all know, the drinks really do make the wedding.

A great passion for the art of the crafted cocktail and its potential to transform experiences brought Elad Zvi and Gabe Orta together in 2009 to form Bar Lab; a one-stop consulting agency and internationally recognized and highly-influential hospitality management company. As co-founders and operating partners of Bar Lab, the duo launched their first bar, the Broken Shaker at the Freehand Miami in 2012, followed by the Broken Shaker Chicago and Los Angles, 27 Restaurant, The Anderson, and The Exchange and Rudolph's Bar and Tea at Freehand Los Angeles. Each venue being engineered to offer a one-of-a-kind experience that transports each guest to a different time and place. Bar Lab has twice been named James Beard finalist for “Outstanding Bar Program,” as well as ranking on the ‘World's 50 Best Bars’ list at #14; in 2015 they won the coveted "Spirited Award" at Tales of the Cocktail for "Best American Hotel Bar."
