Sometimes in finding a partner you also find yourself, which was the case for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. The actress recently explained how Jonas helped her through an “identity crisis.”

“I think for the longest time I didn’t have a real sense of myself,” Turner, 23, told Glamour U.K. “I had a bit of an identity crisis where I was playing all these people and I’d grown up faster than I probably should have done. I hadn’t been able to experience university, or just spend a lot of time with friends, so for a while I kept thinking, ‘Who am I?’ ”

Turner’s breakout role on Game of Thrones began in 2011 when she was only 15. She grew up fast not only in her professional life, but in her personal life as well. Turner and Jonas got engaged after a year of dating when she was 21. Given the average age for women to get married falls somewhere between 26 and 28, 21 seems young—but for Turner, it was exactly what she needed.

“A lot of [my happiness now] is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself, and who wants to see me find my own happiness,” she said. “That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am and find my happiness in things other than acting.”

A supportive partner is key in relationships, and it sounds like Turner has found hers. After a two year engagement, the two will finally walk down the aisle this summer in a destination wedding. Last December one of their wedding guests spilled the beans about their wedding date, posting a now-deleted video to Instagram of the couple's rumored wedding invitation. “Sophie and Joe 2019 France,” was drawn in gold script on the couple's invitation, which came in a small wooden box.

On a recent episode of James Corden's Late Late Show, Jonas confirmed that they will marry this year. “We’re going to have a summer wedding which I’m looking forward to,” he said. “It’s going to be a lot of fun.” Jonas said their wedding will include a flag football and flag rugby game.

The DNCE singer is the last of his brothers to get married, which actually worked out for him in the end. Watching their nuptials has taught him what not to do.

"They were both absolutely beautiful,” Jonas said. “All 18 of Nick’s were amazing. For Kevin, Kevin had a snowstorm during his wedding, which was fantastic. So maybe don’t get married in December. And for Nick, there were quite a few but I would say stick to one. One and done."
