Dancing With The Stars pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson will be taking their dance moves from the ballroom to the aisle, and Johnson is rocking some seriously stunning new bling in ahead of the big event.
The pair, who have been dating since 2016, got engaged in Venice, Italy on Thursday, E! reports. Chermkovsky got down in one knee in the middle of a public square, and presented his now-fiancé with a gorgeous diamond.
"I can't wait to make you my wife," he wrote on Instagram alongside a shot of the proposal. After an adorably shocked Johnson said yes, they sealed the deal with a kiss.
"I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever," she wrote in her own announcement post on Instagram, and continued the sentiment in Russian. "Thank you for making my fairytale come true today! Cannot believe I get to call you my FIANCÉ!!!! #engaged"
The ring features a cushion cut stone on what appears to be a silver or platinum band with a simple halo. Chermkovsky was reportedly heavily involved in selecting the ring, and spent time at Jacob the Jeweler's New York City location picking out the perfect piece to pop the question with, E! reports. The ring is estimated to be four carats, and retail for between $60,000 and $65,000. "He put a ring on it," she wrote in another photo showing off the stone.
Chmerkovskiy and Johnson began dating in 2016, and made their romance official with a public kiss on an episode of Dancing With the Stars. “My life has changed because of [her,]” Chmerkovskiy told People of his future wife. “And I find myself to be the best version of myself that I’ve ever been. She’s awesome.”
While it's unclear when the pair actually plans to make it official, one things for sure: There will definitely be some serious moves on that dance floor.
