Congratulations to Olivia Pope! The fashion-savvy Scandal character, played by actress Kerry Washington, married President Fitzgerald Grant (played by Tony Goldwyn) on the show's 100th episode, an alternate-reality special. Naturally, she made the most beautiful TV bride, in a glam yet classic bridal gown. Did you fall totally in love with Olivia's wedding dress? Not to worry, we have all the details on the gorgeous gown below—and, yes, you can get your hands on it too!
Miss Pope walked down the aisle in an Anne Barge wedding gown from the Fall 2016 bridal collection. The "Berkeley" design ball gown is made of Kalika silk and features a ruched silk-satin-chiffon bodice and off-the-shoulder cap sleeves. For a little sparkle, a thin bedazzled belt was added to the waist.
Lyn Paolo, the show's costume designer, selected the gown with a special style in mind. “Anne Barge was an amazing find for Olivia. We looked for a dream gown, and Anne delivered," he commented. "Olivia looked stunning in the gown, and I could not be more thrilled."
“'Berkeley' is one of my most special gowns. It is both timeless and chic, perfect for a modern, classic bride," Barge said of the design.
If you're feeling Olivia's bridal gown, it retails at $4,000–$4,999 and is available for purchase at Anne Barge's website.
To complete the look, Olivia was jeweled up in Tiffany and Co. She donned classic pearl and diamond drop earrings, along with the "Victoria" diamond bracelet and an ever-so-iconic engagement ring.
Washington also appeared to be in love with her wedding look, as she shared tons of Instagram photos during her glam session and show's taping. The actress added her own flair to the style by adding a pair of jeans underneath!
"The truth underneath it all. Gotta be comfy," Washington captioned. Preach.
