As far as secret celebrity weddings go, Olympian Ryan Lochte gets the gold. The Olympic swimmer just joined the ranks of other stars who have tied the knot in hush-hush nuptials, and with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds all in this exclusive marriage club, it doesn't seem like the worst place to be! Lochte and his love, model Kayla Rae Reid, just said their I dos, shocking their fans with their secret ceremony.

According to E! News who obtained the brand new marriage license between the couple, Lochte and Reid officially tied the knot in a simple ceremony earlier this week. You know, just your average Tuesday.

The couple reportedly said their I dos on Tuesday, January 8 in Gainesville, Florida, where the father of the groom, Steven Lochte, served as witness. The wedding venue? The duo's own home, according to PEOPLE! There, the bride donned the very dress she wore when she and Lochte first met—which just so happened to be white. Clearly, it was fate.

“I’ve waited for Kayla my whole life,” the newly-married Lochte told PEOPLE, following the wedding. “She has given us the most perfect little boy and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her and Caiden.”

The newlyweds are planning to have a larger, formal ceremony in the near future to celebrate their love with all their family and friends.

In October of 2016, after nine months of dating, Lochte proposed to Reid with a gold-medal-worthy diamond engagement ring while overlooking the picturesque Malibu Canyon in Los Angeles. "Speechless. Absolutely beautiful. So in love with YOU," Reid captioned a snapshot of the super sweet moment.

Then, in June of last year, the pair welcomed their first child together, a son named Caiden Zane.

Little Caiden was of course there to witness to his parents saying I do, and we can only hope that this little cutie is included in Lochte and Reid's future formal ceremony, too. Just imagine how adorable he'd be as ring bearer...
