This luxurious European wedding is giving all other 2017 celebrity weddings a serious run for their money. When Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov found out his niece was getting married, he decided to be the coolest uncle ever and pay for the nuptials—and, man, did he deliver.
Uzbekistani influencer Ganya Usmanova and tennis player Vazha Uzakov recently tied the knot in arguably one of the most lavish ceremonies ever, complete with a Kremlin-inspired castle as the reception backdrop. The wedding ceremony took place in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, at the Uzekspocentre Exhibition Centre (also known as the UzExpocentre). The stunning venue was filled with plenty of over-the-top details—from sparkly floors to bright floral arrangements—throughout the room.
In addition to the extravagant event decor, the bride, who is known as an Instagram influencer with over 100,000 followers, wore three different wedding dresses throughout the affair. All three gowns were embellished with dazzling details, including ornate floral designs and sewn-in gemstones. The bride uploaded a photo of one of her dresses to Instagram with the caption "I couldn’t wish for better wedding dress! 💍💕 Thank you for making me feel like princess, you made my dream come true!"
She also shared a snapshot of her now-husband and herself showing off their new wedding bands, captioning the photo "Words can not describe how happy and thankful we are!!! 💕💕💕 Thank you all so much for sharing this day with us!!! Lots of loooove!!!"
Usmanov, a stakeholder in the Arsenal Football Club, is said to be worth at least $15 billion, as reported by Forbes. He is also known for owning the world’s biggest yacht and being the 37th richest person in the world. Hey, if he’s looking to fund any other bride’s wedding budget...
