TV personality, comedian, and now officiant! E!'s Ross Mathews took to the streets yesterday for the Capital pride Parade in Washington, D.C., where on top of the Marriott #LoveTravels float, he officiated a gay wedding.
The grooms George Carrancho and Sean Franklin said "I do" at the corner of P Street and 15th Street during yesterday's pride parade. The two lovebirds have been together since 2007, where they met in Texas, and then moved to New York City together. George then, in 2012, surprised Sean with a proposal at the Manchester Pride parade. "We were at Manchester Pride in 2012," Carrancho told Out. "We were right behind the grand marshal and before the parade started, I asked Sean to marry me."
For three years they've been trying to plan a wedding, but the timing was never right. How fitting, then, that Marriot stepped in and helped them bring their family together for the occasion — at yet another pride parade, no less!

"Our main priority was always to have our families at our weddings," Carrancho added. "Both of our families love and support us and we want them to celebrate this special day with us."
"I hope they're [the Supreme Court members] are looking out their windows as we drive by," Mathews continued. "And they see the joy in George and Sean's eyes on their wedding day. I hope that while they're in the midsts of making their decisions they see the tens of thousands of people that come out in Washington, D.C., to celebrate equality, and pride, and LGBT rights and I hope they see that huge corporations like Marriott are on the right side of history right along with us and that shouldn't be overlooked."
Mathews also took to Instagram to commemorate the special day. "And that's a wrap on a phenomenal wedding! Thanks to the grooms George & Sean, @MarriottRewards & the peeps in DC for an incredible experience I'll never forget! #LoveTravels #MarriedByRoss.
