Looks like Rose Leslie made quite the withdrawal at the Iron Bank of Braavos. The Game of Thrones actress tied the knot with costar Kit Harington on Saturday in Aberdeen, Scotland, where the bride wore a gorgeous Elie Saab wedding dress—that had a seriously staggering price tag attached.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the bride's gown, a long-sleeved lace gown from Elie Saab's spring/summer 2018 collection, cost a whopping $20,000. Yep. $20,000. Unsurprisingly, the bride looked like a million bucks in the frock that featured layers tulle, a mermaid silhouette, and an illusion neckline. Leslie completed her look with a white waist belt and a white flower crown.
Leslie and Harrington tied the knot last weekend at Rayne Church, surrounded by their GoT cast members including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams. The stars' A-list wedding guest list also included Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons and actress Makin Akerman, both friends of the couple.
Harington and Leslie originally met on the set of the show in 2012, where Leslie's character, Ygritte, was the love interest of Harington's character, Jon Snow. As fate would have it, the pair soon fell in love IRL.
The couple confirmed their engagement in late September 2017, when the couple released a very traditional wedding announcement in a local newspaper. Harington later promised that we would see plenty of their GoT costars at the nuptials. "‘You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding, by the way,'" Harington said he told a producer of the HBO series. "[The cast] have all got to be there, so the whole thing has got to shut down."
Thankfully, Harington delivered on his promise! Hopefully the GoT cast comes together again when Sophie Turner ties the knot with Joe Jonas!
