She's a bridal beauty champ! After tying the knot with fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne on Saturday, August 26, Ronda Rousey is doing what all brides do post-"I do"—showing off all the romantic pics on social media! Rousey just took to Instagram to share some seriously cute snapshots of her wedding day, and we couldn't help but notice that the girl's bridal beauty look is out of this world. That lit-from-within glow, though! Here are all of Rousey's beautiful, glowing wedding photos—and how to achieve her natural beauty look on your own easy-breezy big day.
Among the photos shared on Instagram are some stunning bride and groom portraits, the couple's first kiss, and even the ceremony exit complete with thrown flower petals. And once we got past the newlywed's mile-wide smiles and Rousey's curve-hugging Galia Lahav lace wedding dress, we couldn't help but notice how naturally beautiful Rousey looked in her barely-there wedding day makeup.
Gorgeous, right? As it turns out, the UFC fighter's longtime makeup artist, Hee Soo, was the one behind Rousey's understated bridal beauty look and she just divulged all the deets to E! News. "She really didn't have a lot on," said Soo, who opted to keep Rousey's makeup minimal, clean, and stunningly simple. "She is an athlete. They tend to have really beautiful skin because they sweat and work out so much. Your natural sweat cleans out your pores." (Another great reason to hit the gym, no?) Soo also prepped Rousey's skin ahead of the big day by exfoliating the face before applying Creme de la Mer moisturizer and Clé de Peau eye cream.
So with a beautiful canvas already in place, Soo only used a handful products to enhance the bride's already-there glow. "The 'no-makeup makeup look' was easy because she had a little tan," said Soo, who dished to E! that she started by applying Clé de Peau foundation to Rousey's face, followed by an orange-hued eyeshadow by Stila. She added a sheer nude shade to the corner of the MMA star's eyes for a bit of an added pop. Next, she brushed a Terry lip balm in a warm berry shade onto Rousey's lips that "makes you look like you just bit into a bunch of cherries," Soo explained. "I knew she and Travis were going to be kissing a lot, so we wanted something that would not get everywhere and come off on him."
And of course, Soo finished up Rousey's look with a bridal beauty staple—waterproof mascara. "There was lots of crying and happiness," she said. "The makeup lasted all day."
