Congratulations—or, should we say, félicitations—are in order for Robin Wright, who reportedly wed her French boyfriend, Clément Giraudet, in a secret ceremony over the weekend. According to Vogue Paris, the House of Cards star tied the knot with her boyfriend of one year in a "low-profile ceremony" among family and friends in an undisclosed location. The Princess Bride star looked like an actual princess bride in the bohemian-style lace dress she selected for the special day, which she accessorized with a '60s-inspired scarf tied around her head, per French Vogue.
The outdoor reception had no shortage of music and laughter. In a video shared to Wright's daughter Dylan Penn's Instagram account, casually dressed guests are seen enjoying the sounds of multiple guitar players, drinking champagne, and dancing the night away.
Wright and Giraudet were first spotted together during Paris Fashion Week in September 2017, which makes sense given Giraudet's role as the head of VIP relations at iconic French fashion house Saint Laurent. The pair reportedly began dating shortly after meeting at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, earlier in 2017, but neither ever truly confirmed the relationship. In July, they spent a PDA-packed week vacationing together in Capri, perhaps gearing up for their surprise nuptials. And earlier this year, in March, Wright and Giraudet were spotted wearing matching rings on their left hands, which sparked rumors that they were already married. Now, though, it seems that they've finally sealed the deal.
This is Wright's second marriage. She was famously married to actor Sean Penn for 14 years (and used to go by the moniker Robin Wright Penn), and they share two children together, Hopper, 23, and Dylan, 25. In 2015, several years after her 2010 split from Penn, Wright was engaged to Ben Foster, but they called it off before they ever walked down the aisle.
Wishing Robin Wright and Clément Giraudet a lifetime of Hollywood-level happiness in their shared future!
