Among one of Rihanna's many accomplishments (singer! makeup connoisseur! actress!), the Barbados-born beauty can now add lingerie designer to her resumé. And, just in time for the royal wedding, she has a few garments mapped out for the future bride and groom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, making world-class royal wedding–gifter another achievement to add to her list.
Bad Girl RiRi celebrated the release of her lingerie collection, Savage X Fenty, last night at the line's pop-up shop in New York City. Featuring everything from bras and undies to sexy catsuits (yes, that's a thing) and fluffy robes, future brides of all sizes, royal or not, need to check it out. And, to celebrate her friendship with Prince Harry, Rihanna hinted at her favorite lingerie picks that the redheaded royal and Markle can enjoy, confessing to Entertainment Tonight that she plans to take things to the "extreme" in terms of her royal wedding gift.
"I think you have to go to the extreme when you're gifting both for a man and a woman, because both people benefit from the gift," Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight. Although she didn't specify which pieces she might be giving the pair for their wedding (perhaps not to ruin the surprise), she added that her line definitely has "a bridal vibe going on; we definitely do have a little skirt and top situation." Take note, all soon-to-be-brides!
And, speaking of extreme, the 30-year-old singer/songwriter also offered up some sage advice for the soon-to-be-married pair on their wedding night. "But I mean, really, on your wedding night, you could do whatever you want. It depends on how savage you wanna be," she said, coyly playing on the lingerie line's moniker.
Prince Harry and Rihanna first met at the Toast to the Nation event in Barbados in 2016. Despite brainstorming gift ideas for Harry and Markle, Rihanna didn't specify whether she'll be attending the pair's nuptials. But, considering she's practically royalty herself, we sure hope she'll have a seat at St. George's Chapel come May 19, decked out in her best attire.
Additionally, Harry and Markle followed in Kate Middleton and Prince William's footsteps by asking for charitable donations in the place of traditional wedding gifts. The couple picked seven organizations that they hold near and dear, which benefit the homeless, women in Mumbai living in poverty-stricken areas, beach and ocean preservation, and much more. While RiRi probably got the memo on this, it never hurts to potentially add to a royal newlywed's underwear collection, especially when lace and marabou trimming are involved.
