Get more bang for your buck (or justify your purchase in the first place!) by repurposing your wedding décor and styling your home with the items that once graced your reception and ceremony. These clever pieces have a shelf life long after you both say "I do."
1. Vintage Typewriter
A clever way to display a note to your guests on the welcome table, this would also be an on-trend look for your home.
2. Faux Suitcases
These can be used as part of a display (cake table, guest table, etc), as an escort card holder, and more. Then when you use them at home, they can store items while acting as decoration above cupboards, in corners of rooms, or as a touch of charm to a guest bedroom.
3. Table Linens
Whether you scoop up runners for the head table or full-size tablecloths, these will add serious glam to your holiday parties for many years to come.

4. Bird Cage
Use one for wedding cards or decorations during your reception; at home, put pillar candles in them and place on a patio or elsewhere in your home. (Be careful of flammable paint, though.)
5. A Classy Mailbox
Instead of having guests stick their wishes or advice into a jar or box, have them put their notes into a classic gold mailbox. Use it later as — what else?! — your house's real mailbox.
6. Mr. & Mrs. Signage
A natural wedding decoration in front of the sweetheart table, behind the bride and groom's chairs or elsewhere at your wedding, a well-done pair of Mr. and Mrs. signs would make for a clever and artistic display above your bed.
After using them during your wedding's outdoor cocktail hour or reception, group them together on your home patio, on the doorstep, or even in a spacious bathroom. Take note: It's best to get varying sizes if you want to then use these in a natural way at home.
