Me, in my David's Bridal bridesmaid dress,
with the adorable newlyweds.
As editors, we get to view photos from a ton of weddings, but there's still nothing like seeing a close friend tie the knot. Nearly two months ago, I went to my dear friends Kate and Russ's wedding in Portsmouth, N.H. I had never been to Portsmouth and thought it was such a wonderful place to have a wedding—a perfect "mini-destination" for Boston and New Hampshire brides. South Church, where the ceremony was held, was the perfect New England church, and the Sheraton Portsmouth hosted a beautiful reception. I also thought the rehearsal dinner site, Victory , was really wonderful—the wedding party took over the entire upstairs dining room and the food was delicious. I also loved the little details that were just so "Kate and Russ." Both of them are newspaper reporters, so the save-the-dates were mini "newspapers," and the favors were reporters' notebooks.
