The Real Housewives of New York Stars' Wedding Rings

If there's one thing we love more than anything here at Brides (well, almost anything), it's celebrity engagement rings. Some stars, like newly-engaged Alison Brie and Dave Franco or Pitch Perfect's Anna Camp and Skylar Astin, opt for the trendy rose gold rings, while others, like Mariah Carey and her billionaire fiancé James Packer, go for the gigantic 30-plus carat engagement rings (seriously, how does she even lift her left hand?). And now we can add Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps' bling to our growing list of favorite famous engagement rings!

The Countess has been sporting a stunning (and huge) yellow diamond engagement ring since her boyfriend-turned-fiancé Tom D'Agostino Jr. popped the question in early February. The new season of the ever-popular Bravo series is premiering Wednesday night, and we can only hope that this eighth installment of Big Apple drama brings with it an on-camera proposal for the Real Housewife.

But, while we're anxiously counting the hours until we hear those superb opener taglines, we're counting the carats of these famous ladies' famous sparklers—whether they currently wear them or not. From Luann's brand new bling to Bethenny Frankel's no-longer-on-her-finger pear-shaped ring, these are our favorite engagement and wedding rings from the current leading ladies (sorry, not sorry, Kristen Taekman!) on The Real Housewives of New York.

Luann de Lesseps

Of course, we have to start with the bride-to-be! The Countess, and one of the RHONY OGs, got engaged to D'Agostino just weeks ago (after her public split from her ex-husband Alexandre de Lesseps in 2009). The former model and mom of two was clearly thrilled to flaunt her new ring, and, with a bauble like that, who wouldn't be?!

"Thomas was planning on a Valentine's Day proposal during their upcoming vacation in Vail," an insider close to the couple told People. "But [he] couldn't wait and presented an eight-carat canary yellow diamond ring before they got there." And that yellow-hued ring is such a showstopper. The square-cut center stone is flanked by two smaller white diamonds sitting on a silver band, resulting in a unique yet classic look. In an Instagram snap, LuAnn posted after the exciting news broke, you can catch a glimpse of the bridal bauble that's totally fit for a queen—ahem, countess.

Bethenny Frankel

While the Skinnygirl mogul wears this ring no longer, we just had to include her impressive engagement bauble in our lineup. Frankel's now-ex Jason Hoppy proposed to the reality star in October 2009 after an 11-month courtship. Hoppy and Frankel dished to People at the time all the details of his romantic proposal—and show-stopping ring.

Hoppy filled Frankel's Upper East Side apartment with over a hundred votive candles and lined the hallway with rose petals. With Frankel's famous dog Cookie in a pink bow, Hoppy got down on one knee and asked Frankel to marry him, presenting her with a 6.5-carat pear-shaped diamond ring, flanked by two side stones, from jeweler Kristen Farrell. Frankel joked to People at the time that cleaning up the rose petals from her camel-colored carpet was the first order of post-proposal business. "I made him pick them up," she joked. "This was the first thing we had to resolve."

In a televised wedding that aired on her reality show, Bethenny Getting Married, Frankel married Hoppy at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York on March, 29 2010 when she was seven months pregnant with her daughter.

Ramona Singer

Any fan or recent viewer of the RHONY knows that Ramona and Mario Singer are no longer. The reality star filed for divorce in August, according to People, ending her 22-year marriage after being blindsided by a cheating scandal. But just because Mario and Ramona's relationship turned ugly, doesn't mean we can't appreciate the more gorgeous aspects of their estranged romance, like their epic televised vow renewal and her gorgeous bridal bling.

The couple renewed their vows in December 2009 after 17 years of marriage in front of 70 friends and family members in Manhattan. Ramona, in a custom-made white satin gown trimmed with crystals and ostrich feathers, told Mario she loved him more than the first time she married him, according to the New York Times. Mario compared her to a ray of sunshine and a rock. Their daughter Avery, who also appears on the show, stood at the altar with them.

Before going bare on her ring finger, the reality star sometimes sported her giant platinum bauble of an engagement ring, and other times opted for a simple diamond-encrusted wedding band (depending on the occasion, obviously).

Julianne Wainstein

The newest (and youngest, according to the NY Post) member of the RHONY cast is sure to bring tons of fun this season, just look at her tagline! Jules (that's what she goes by) happens to be the only RHONY that's actually married—at least until Luann walks down the aisle. The event planner-turned-stay-at-home mom married her venture capitalist husband, Michael Wainstein, in 2008 in a lavish Jewish ceremony in the Dominican Republic. Just check out this throwback shot of her and her hubby on their wedding day!

We have yet to catch a close-up of the newest housewife's wedding bling, but based on the blurry Instagram shots, we believe Jules is rocking several diamond-encrusted gold wedding bands.

Unfortunately, even though they've all tied the knot, photos of the wedding rings Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, and Sonja Morgan wore during their married days could not be found. So, to tide you over, we'll leave you with this.
