After five years of starring on Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore is now officially an actual wife. The reality star just low-key tied the knot, marrying her secret love in a secret wedding this past weekend. Now, Moore isn't only revealing the identity of her new husband—she's unveiling her wedding photos as well!
Moore first began dating her businessman beau back in December, keeping his name and face hidden from the press until now. Marc Daly, 47, is the lucky man who married the reality star. And after about six months of dating, they married on the St. Lucia sand on June 10.
"It was just so perfect," the Bravo star told People magazine of her tropical beach nuptials. "We wanted something simple and not overly complicated," Moore explained of her and her husband's desire for a low-key ceremony, away from the paparazzi cameras and media. "He didn’t want something for show. He didn’t want it to be left up to other people’s interpretation of love. He just wanted it to be what he sees it: him looking into my eyes and us being together. It was just two people in love who wanted to get married."
Despite the intimate ceremony, there were a few familiar names on the guest list. Moore's best friend and RHOA frequent guest star, Brandon DeShazer, attended, and her aunt Lori (another familiar RHOA face) was there as well. However, the bride's Bravo costars such as Porsha Williams, Shereé Whitfield, and Kandi Burruss were all noticeably missing from the guest list. "We do plan on having a large wedding for all of our friends and family next June, so we’ll have everyone there," Moore noted.
But the day looks and sounds to have been just perfect all on its own. "I would not have done it any other way—it was amazing," said the former Miss USA. "My sign is an Aquarius, so I really love the water and the ocean and always wanted that as my backdrop. And we were all there on the white sand beach and you could hear the waves in the background. It was so romantic."
Wearing a curve-hugging lace-and-tulle custom wedding dress by Pallas Couture, Moore said her "I do's" right on the shore of a private resort on the idyllic island, standing beneath a beautiful archway of white roses with her now-hubby. "The dress was perfect when I saw it," added Moore. “I’m a woman of a certain age, but my husband wanted me to look sexy. And it was a beach wedding, so I didn’t want anything too formal. I knew this was exactly what I wanted when I saw it."
"I cried the whole time writing [the vows] so I ended up just saying what I felt from my heart," she said of the ceremony. "I was so emotional, I just couldn’t get through without this really big ugly cry."
After the ceremony, the wedding party celebrated at a beach reception, dancing to a Caribbean steel pan band.
"This was the best experience of my life," concluded Moore.
Congrats, you two!
