Recessional: "Ribbon in the Sky," by Stevie Wonder, performed by a saxophonist. "My husband and I both grew up with this song, and it sounded great on the sax in the garden setting [where the ceremony took place]," says Junique.
"We picked songs our family could relate to and songs we grew up with, and we tried not to alienate guests from different age groups," says Junique.
Cocktails: A DJ played "Forever Mine," by the O'Jays, and "You're My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration," by Teddy Pendergrass.
First dance: "So High," by John Legend.
Cake cutting: "Why Do I Love You," by Miles Davis.
Last song: "Family Reunion," by the O'Jays. "Family and friends sang along and stood in a circle, with Lawrence and me in the middle," says Junique.
