If there’s anyone who can help a woman find her dream wedding dress, it’s Randy Fenoli, the former fashion director of Kleinfeld Bridal in New York and the unofficial star of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress. Fenoli was famous on the show for his pitch-perfect bridal bedside manner—critical but not unkind, complimentary but not phony—as well as his knowledge of construction, cut, and detail when it came to gowns. Not to mention his ability to navigate tricky family dynamics (we see you, opinionated MIL). Now, a gift to brides everywhere: Fenoli is launching his own wedding dress collection during Bridal Fashion Week in April.
While the entire 25-piece range won’t be revealed (or available for purchase) until Fenoli’s show at Kleinfeld on April 20, we have two very important pieces of information about the line: 1.) The dresses have that over-the-top fairy-tale quality that Kleinfeld is famous for providing. Think: trumpet skirts, floral appliqués, and strategic sparkle. And 2.) While the gowns might look opulent, they aren’t exorbitant; prices will range from $1,500 to $3,000. That’s a bridal-designer power combo if we’ve ever heard one.
“For me, the most fun part is being able to design gowns that are fashionable yet affordable to reach more brides across the world," Fenoli told People. “I have the unique experience of being hands-on with hundreds of thousands of brides over the years so my personal design sense has developed from there.”
Fenoli also promises that the collection will be a little bit sexy, too. “There are more illusion necklines, back detailing, and playfulness in bridal now,” he said. “The industry is steeped in tradition but I would like to think I am bringing something fresh and new to the space.”
April 20 can’t come soon enough.
