At long last, future brides, Rachel Zoe's newest bridal collection is officially here! BRIDES gave readers a sneak peek of the ready-to-wear line in September, when the fashion mogul first debuted the looks in Los Angeles. Now, nine months later, you can finally get your hands on the ethereal bridal ensembles, and BRIDES celebrated the collection launch last night at the Public Hotel in New York City.
At the scenic Public Hotel's private Ava & Sunrise rooftop terrace (which also marks the perfect spot for your rooftop wedding or rehearsal dinner, FYI), Zoe debuted the series of gowns and one white pantsuit, which she herself also sported for the occasion. Models stationed on podiums amid wedding-worthy floral arrangements (artfully created by Designs by Ahn) and the New York skyline alternated between looks, showcasing simple sheath gowns with one-shoulder ruffled detailing, floral embroidery, cowl-backs, and much more.
Guests mingled between the venue's indoor and outdoor spaces, and models later migrated to the rooftop to pose for photos, where their elegant white outfits perfectly contrasted the setting sun and surrounding city. Zoe's family attended the launch event, along with bride-to-be Katie Stevens (who announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend, musician Paul DiGiovanni earlier this year), one of the stars of Freeform's The Bold Type. Was Stevens shopping for her wedding dress? Alicia Quarles, host of the BRIDES Royal Wedding Live event with Queer Eye's Tan France, Mary Orton, and comedian and actress Rachel Feinstein, were also present.
Deemed The Wedding Edit, the Rachel Zoe bridal collection is available on the Rachel Zoe website, which boasts a line of "dreamy silhouettes for the glamorous yet modern bride." Sizes range from 0-12 and, although it currently only features 16 pieces, there's truly something for every fashion-forward bride to find the dress of her dreams. As one would expect, Zoe pulled out all the stops with beautiful crepe, lace, and shimmery sequin fabric, available in a wide range of silhouettes (think jumpsuits, midi dresses, floor-length gowns). Plus, it's surprisingly affordable—pieces range from $295 to $695.
The Rachel Zoe bridal collection effortlessly meshes a romantic appeal with cool, trendy elements, so it's an easily accessible wedding line you definitely don't want to miss. Each style will flatter any bride, and the timeless silhouettes ensure you won't regret your wedding day look 20 years from now.
