Few things can top the excitement of the "The Final Rose" season finale episodes of The Bachelor/Bachelorette series, but the aftermath of the happy couple's journey to win the reality competition ties for a close second. Luckily for Bachelorette fans, recent season star 32-year-old lawyer Rachel Lindsay has kept us all on our toes waiting to hear what will come next for her and her new beau.
This weekend, the no longer single Bachelorette Lindsay and her fiancé Bryan Abasolo celebrated their engagement party at restaurant Stirr Dallas in Lindsay's hometown of Dallas. The two have yet to reveal any details about the affair, with the exception of a cute picture of the couple at the event that Abasolo posted to social media in which Lindsay shows of her ring in a chic white dress.
“My world,” the 37-year-old chiropractor captioned his Instagram post. “@therachlindsay #brachel #engagementparty #dallas #bachelorette #bachelornation.”
In an interview with Us Weekly last week, Lindsay said of her plans to have a family, “We definitely want to get married first and enjoy each other. But, you know, sooner than later. It’s hard to say."
Abasolo added, “She wants four with the fourth being an accident down the line and I want three, and she'll probably win in the end and we'll have four." (Sounds about right.)
Lindsay quickly confirmed, adding, "We’re having four.”
As far as other wedding plans go, Lindsay and Abasolo have yet to reveal too many details about the big day, but the bride-to-be has made one thing very clear about her dream wedding: “I mean, I’m from Texas,” Lindsay said on the finale. “Obviously I want a winter wedding.”
