One of the most memorable contestants from the Netflix reboot of Queer Eye is finally getting his happy ending. Tom Jackson, the contestant from the first episode of the reboot, "You Can't Fix Ugly," is engaged to his ex-wife, Abby!
"It's official, Abby and I are engaged," Jackson tweeted on Monday along with a photo of him and his new fiancé. "What a Netflix special [that] would be. If the Fab 5 planned and attended our wedding!!!!!!!!!" (Our fingers are crossed!)
But the lovable truck driver didn't stop there. He added that he wanted the show's stars, the Fab 5—Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness and Tan France—to be his groomsmen, with Berk serving as his best man.
"Everyone is welcome to come to the wedding," he tweeted. "I'm praying that the Fab 5 can find time in their busy schedules to come. I'd love for Bobby [to] be best man and the other 4 to be my grooms men. Chandler will be my ring bearer."
Jackson was first introduced to fans during the show's premiere, when the Fab 5 transformed the truck driver from a man with low self esteem who rarely left his one bedroom apartment to a confident, fashion-forward guy with the courage to ask out his ex-wife. At the end of the episode, Jackson reveals that he and Abby are back together.
The two later took a break from their romance temporarily, but just recently rekindled the fire. Last week, Jackson tweeted that he and Abby were back on, writing, "So happy 😀 to say that Abby and I are reunited 💝 we’ve loved each other for many years and want to spend the rest of our lives together!!!!!!!!"
Jackson clarified that even though he has become somewhat of a celebrity after the show aired, he and his ex wife reunited for all the right reasons.
"People have ask[ed] me if Abby came back to me because I might become well known? The answer to that question is NO," he tweeted. "Abby and I broke up in September. I just never tweeted about it until a few weeks ago."
Congrats, Tom and Abby! We're hoping your Netflix wedding special really does come true.
