If you've been waiting for a reason to believe in love again after the Channing Tatum–Jenna Dewan and Chris Pratt–Anna Faris splits, this news is for you: Queer Eye's Tom Jackson and Abby Parr got re-married over the weekend.
The couple reportedly eloped in a private ceremony at Chapel at the Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on Sunday. “The best part of the day was during the ceremony as we stood before the minister, both of us excited and happy to be recommitting ourselves to each other in marriage,” the couple told Us Weekly. During the ceremony, at which Parr wore an Oleg Cassini dress and a matching jeweled headpiece, they lit a unity candle, then celebrated with a small wedding cake and a honeymoon in Gatlinburg.
“I was excited and happy! I was marrying the love of my life. Tom looked happy and excited as I walked down the aisle—I was looking at him looking at me and he was smiling as I walked down the aisle!” Parr told Us. “Tom was grinning from ear to ear!”
As fans of the show may remember, Jackson underwent a makeover, care of the Queer Eye crew, and realized just how important his ex-wife was to him. After the show aired, the pair got back together, then took a brief break, then got back together again, and in March, they announced they were engaged for the second time. “Thomas and I, we have never really been apart, apart. We have been best friends for 12 years and we have known each other for 12 years,” Parr told Us at the time of the engagement. “We have always loved each other, that never stopped, whether we were together or not.”
In case your heart hasn't already melted into a puddle, you should know that though Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France and Karamo Brown—a.k.a. Queer Eye's "Fab Five —didn't physically attend the ceremony (despite the fact that Jackson wanted them to be his groomsmen), they were there in spirit. According to Us, Jackson's wedding suit was one that had been tailored during his wardrobe makeover on the show, and his shirt was a gift from fashion guru France. No, you're crying!
